I know this time of year can feel overwhelming. Between holiday gatherings, family obligations, and the endless parade of tempting drug foods, it’s easy to slip into old patterns. Maybe this week isn’t going the way you hoped. Maybe you made food choices that have you feeling frustrated, discouraged, guilty, ashamed or out of control.


I want to remind you of something powerful: you don’t have to wait until January to start over.


Right now, today, you can take the first step toward freedom. Food addiction and disordered eating don’t have to define you or your choices moving forward. Every moment is an opportunity to reset, realign, and make a decision that serves the healthy, thriving, food sober version of yourself you’re working toward.


Starting fresh doesn’t mean being perfect. It’s about making one good choice at a time and giving yourself grace along the way. Maybe you’ve lapsed the last couple of days, but remember you don’t have to allow it to become a full-blown relapse.

The food choices you’re regretting these last couple of days are like a flat tire. When you have a flat tire you fix it and you move on, you don’t pop the other three tires because you’ve already got one flat. That’s what you’d be doing if you continue to “Indulge” yourself in drug foods because January 1 is right around the corner.


I know it’s not easy, but I also know how freeing it feels to break the cycle and choose a different path. You’re not alone in this, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
