Quit Waiting to Get Serious

Quit waiting to get serious about food sobriety. When you keep putting it off and waiting for the right time, you’re going to continue to have negative consequences - food addiction and eating disorders are progressive. The damage you do by not being food sober isn’t going to pause while you’re trying to decide when the right time to prioritize yourself is going to be.

If you put it off you are making it more difficult for you to get off the roller coaster in the future. As we do nothing during the time that passes, our addiction and disordered behaviors get stronger and you make it harder and harder on yourself to regain control.

While you’re putting off your food sobriety. your self-esteem is taking a downward turn and the feelings of powerlessness and feeling like a failure are amplified and your voice of sabotage tells you you’ll never be able to get better.

As if all that wasn’t already bad enough, the worst of it is that your physical and mental health will continue to deteriorate. Your type 2 diabetes will progress, your high blood pressure will stay high, your insulin resistance will get worse, you might gain more weight and all of this puts you at a greater risk for more future health problems. You’ll likely feel more anxious, depressed, and the shame you feel will intensify as the days, weeks, and months of you putting off your food sobriety pass.

When your physical and mental health is on the decline, it eventually affects every area of your life.

So don’t give up these last two weeks. Don’t wake up January 1 with regrets. The longer you wait to make your food sobriety a priority, the harder it’s going to be to get there. There’s nothing magical about tomorrow, but I promise you starting today is a powerful decision.

I’m currently enrolling for January private coaching spots so if you're ready to get serious about changing, fill out this pre application and I'll email you and let you know if I think my program would be a good fit for you and I'll answer any questions you need answered in order to make a decision.

I created my Food Freedom program to help people just like you (and like I was) to find peace and freedom with food, and to give you the tools, strategies, and skills to overcome your disordered relationship with food. Let me help you every step of the way.
