For many of us, the start of a new year can be filled with both hope and pressure. If you’re like I once was, you might be thinking about resolutions, diets, or promises to yourself that feel daunting. But I want to remind you that food freedom is not about perfection—it’s about progress, healing, and creating a life free from the chains of food addiction and disordered eating.
This year, instead of focusing on what you think you should do, focus on what truly serves your recovery and overall well-being. One meal, one choice, one day at a time—it all matters. Every act of self-care and every decision to honor your body and mind moves you closer to food freedom.
As someone who has walked this path for nearly 11 years, I can promise you that it is worth every effort. It’s not just about saying “no” to foods that harm you; it’s about saying “yes” to a life of clarity, peace, and joy. Food sobriety isn’t just about what’s on your plate—it’s about reclaiming or finding the life you were meant to live and filling your real needs.
You are not alone in this journey. There’s a whole community of people walking a similar path as you, ready to cheer for your victories and hold space for your struggles. And I’m here, always ready to support you, to guide you, and to remind you of the strength that lies within you.
