When I was trying so hard to lose weight pre my eating disorder recovery, it just got harder and harder to do every time I fell off, gained back and then some and tried to start again.
I ate all the low calorie foods (rice cakes, 100 Calorie snack packs). I lived off of 'eat less and exercise more' to no avail. I did more Zumba classes than I'd like to admit.
And nothing freaking worked. I gained more weight, I felt more food obsessed, and most nights I was binging on the couch while watching P90x infomercials vowing tomorrow would be the day I finally got my crap together.
For years I clung to information that was WRONG (that I didn’t know was wrong) and my eating disorder voice in my head was running the show.
